QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADOPTION:

All adopters must be residents of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex

All adopters must be 25 years or older

Vet checks are required for all adoptions. We will call the veterinarian listed on the application to verify that all current and past animals are/were spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on monthly heartworm prevention medication.

All adopters must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household

If renting, all adopters must show proof of pet deposit and documentation allowing pets

Applications must be submitted by the person wanting to adopt a pet. We do not allow adoptions on behalf of another person
ADOPTION PROCESS:
​Step 1: If you are interested in meeting one of the pets in our program, the first step is to click here to fill out our Adoption Application.

Step 2: After we receive your application, we will review it to ensure it meets our adoption criteria and do a vet check to verify your current and past are/were up to date on vaccinations and current on heart worm preventative medication (for dogs).

Step 3: After determining your home would be a good match for the pet, we will schedule a meet and greet.
​
Step 4: if the meet and greet is successful and you would like to make the pet a part of your family, we will complete an adoption contract and collect our adoption fee. We offer a 1 week trial for all adoptions.
